Westgate Films was formed in 2006 by Sean Fitzgerald and Jon Taylor as an independent production company, specializing in contemporary training films. 

For the last eighteen years, Sean has successfully combined a career as a senior lecturer in film and television production (previously at Bucks New Uni) and as an independent producer. He studied film-making at Christ Church College, University of Kent at Canterbury and Middlesex University.

Jon is a former professional librarian, specializing in customer services and equal opportunities. He has worked as a freelance trainer since April 2008.

Reader Says Returned, the company’s debut production, has been designed to help frontline library staff with everyday issues of customer care. It is the first of its kind to be released in the UK.

Since its initial release in 2007, Reader Says Returned has been used by public, academic and specialist libraries all over the UK, as well as in Australia, the USA and Ireland.
